Opening

Today, on the 72nd anniversary of the nuclear bombardment of Nagasaki, we make our website public in the hopes of ensuring that such nuclear attacks stay firmly in the past where they belong - as a reminder of the mistakes we as a species have committed, and a symbol for how far we have come in bettering ourselves. We're only small, but the more people we can get talking about nuclear disarmament and sending a message to our politicians about signing the UN treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, the bigger the impact we can have. If we work together, we can send a message to our politicians they can't ignore; we can show that what Australia needs - what the whole world needs - is the abolishing of nuclear weapons. We may be small, but together, the impact we can have is monumental.
